» Tryouts

Victorium Volleyball intends to offer and sign the majority of players on tryout day. Region teams will consist of 12 players, and National or Open travel teams will consist of 10-12 players. All will receive quality training and the opportunity to earn play time at tournaments and Qualifiers. Some rosters may need to be finalized after tryouts. Once you accept our offer, the roster spot is yours. We will communicate expectations prior to and throughout tryouts so that every athlete feels informed and confident going through the process. We will evaluate each athlete’s overall skill set as well as court awareness and game play. We will be impartial and fair when evaluating all participants to ensure an equal opportunity to make a team.

Player Checklist

Register for USAV Volleyball AZ Region Membership.

Please purchase your daughters USAV/AZ Region Membership through Sports Engine prior to attending Open Gyms, Open Houses or Tryouts. You can access the registration link directly from the AZ Region website. Click Here to Register.

(There is a $55 fee paid directly to the region.
Once completed, please print your membership card.)

Forms to bring to Tryouts:

(wear standard gym clothing and bring water)

Paid confirmation of USA Volleyball membership (membership card or receipt)
Completed Medical release form from the AZ Region:Download
A photocopy of the participant’s Birth Certificate (If you played at any club in the AZ Region last year we DO NOT need a copy). For your convenience, forms can be turned in ahead of time at any Open House.

Please complete the AZ Region docs prior to completing the Player Profile. You will need to upload those documents into the Player Profile. If this is your first year playing club in the AZ Region, a printed copy of birth certificate is required.
