Coaches

Bio:

An Alumni of the University of Southern California.  As a Trojan earned Pac-12 All-Conference, All-Pac-12, and Pac-12 All-Freshman team honors.  Coach Alyse also played overseas in Germany, Finland, Puerto Rico, and Greece.  She is currently assisting at Hamilton HS.   As a high school player herself, Alyse played for Laguna Beach Volleyball Club for 7 years.  She was CIF Player of the Year for Mater Dei High School, and a MaxPreps High School All-American.  Coach Alyse is an amazing mentor for competitive athletes going through the day to day challenges of balancing competition and life. 

Bio:

An AZ Native and stand out from Scottsdale Christian Academy.   Recent law graduate of Sandra Day O’Conner College of Law.  Assistant Varsity Coach at SCA in 2017 & 2018 seasons, both ending with State Championship titles and the beginning of a dynasty.  SCA went on two win three more state titles for a total of five back to back.  No doubt the program fed off her playing days when she received All – Conference 1st team honors and took home the Defensive Player of the Year title in 2016. 

Bio:

Earned a BS in Human Biology from University of Southern California and currently working on a Master’s in Kinesiology at A.T. Still.   Breanna played on the USC club team for 3 years while assistant coaching with the men’s side as well alongside Theo Brunner.   Breanna is currently the JV Head coach for indoor and sand at Chaparral High School.  Coach Breanna owned the net as a 4 year varsity letter winner at Homestead High School out of Cupertino, CA and led her team to CCS Division 1 Titles in 2014 & 2015.  As a player in the club volleyball scene Coach Bre has not only earned USAV national bids, but also podiumed at GJNCs taking home the bronze in the National Division.

13UA – Evan Sedillo. (Chaparral Varsity Head Coach)

Currently in his 2nd season as Chaparral HS Head of Program but a veteran in the Arizona coaching community approaching 30 years of coaching experience.  Most recently Coach Evan spent the last 8 seasons at Arizona Sky Volleyball leading top level 13s team to high performance finishes at USA Volleyball’s Girl’s Jr National Championships:

• 2018 — 13th in 13 Open Division 
• 2019 — 13th in 13 National Division 
• 2021 — 7th in 13 Open Division 
• 2022 — 6th in 13 Open Division 
• 2022 — 5th in 13 USA Division 
• 2024 — 35th in 13 National Division 

Known as one of Arizona’s elite volleyball coaches, Evan also has a history as national level springboard and platform diver.  Evan’s exceptional understanding of body position and physics transferred well to the volleyball which relies heavily on angles and control.  When not on the court Evan can hold his own out on the golf course as well.

Bio:

Brooke is a native Phoenician and played volleyball for Arizona Juniors for 8 years.  She was a four year varsity athlete at Xavier College Prep where she helped her team win the first three State Championships (1996,1997,1998) for the program.  She competed as the starting setter at both the University of Wyoming and then transferred to Saint Mary’s College of California.  After graduating with a degree in Maritime Archaeology she played overseas in Almeria, Spain.  Upon returning from Europe, she went into the corporate advertising and marketing world, got married, inherited a couple kids, and had a couple more.  In 2014 she went back to school and got her degree in Viticulture and Enology at the Southwest Wine Center and is currently the owner and winemaker of Vino Stache Winery in Elgin, AZ.  Brooke started her coaching career as a student assistant in high school at Brophy College Prep where they won their 1st state title in 1998. She has coached at all age groups with NorCal Juniors, Club Red Juniors and is excited to join the talented team of coaches and athletes at Victorium.

Bio:

Prior to becoming a Registered Nurse in North Scottsdale, Dana spent her college days playing sand volleyball for The University of Arizona.  From an early age Dana was taking off in the sport of volleyball.  She represented USA Beach Volleyball on A1 & A2 National High Performance teams.   While playing for UofA, Dana twice received AVCA Top Flight Award.  Dana ended her Wildcat career 9th on the leader board in career wins for the program.  Originally from Flagstaff, AZ, Dana played 7 years of competitive indoor volleyball as well.

Bio:

A proud D1 volleyball alum from Virginia Tech.  Began coaching volleyball during her playing days as a student athlete.  From being an assistant coach in Centreville, VA (2006 – 2007) to head trainer at Gainey Ranch (2010-2013), she’s got experience galore.  Chaparral HS JV and Freshman coach from 2008 – 2013.   Erin has called Scottsdale home since 2007.  When she’s not on the court, she’s making a difference as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Hector has been coaching volleyball for over 15 years and is passionate about teaching and growing the game.

Bio:

Coach McLean received a Master’s degree in Biochemistry with emphasis in Cancer Biology from Northern Arizona University.  She’s a 1st author in muscle physiology.  Coach Holly has taught anatomy, biochemistry, immunology, and biotech labs at NAU from 2009 – 2015.  Her coaching journey started as a way to finance those heavy books!  Her heart for education came through on the court as well.  In 2012 Holly founded Ascent Volleyball Club of Flagstaff, AZ and served as Director for 3 seasons.  The club is still thriving today.  A Scottsdale native, Holly moved back to the valley in 2015.  In 2017, Holly took the Chaparral Firebirds to the State Semifinals.   In 2018, she was on staff with Arizona State University assisting with scout and stat reports, film, and live DataVolley statistics.  The Sun Devils recorded three top 25 wins against #14USC, #12 Oregon, and #15 Washington.  The last 5 years Coach Holly led the Notre Dame Prep Saints to a 2021 State Championship, a 2020 State Runners Up, and a semifinal appearance in all 5 seasons.  Twice nominated for All – State Coach of the Year.  Named All – Conference Coach of the Year in 2021.  Named Region Coach of the Year 4X.   In her leadership, the Saints went undefeated on home court for nearly three years and put together a 38 home match win streak.  Coach Holly has 150+ Varsity record wins in 6 years of Varsity head coaching, her first year being at Chaparral HS in 2017, where she was also named Region Coach of the Year and finished the season with the #1 overall ranking in the conference.   A career 0.85 conference win % record.  

On the club side, coach Holly has coached for Spiral Volleyball Club and Revolution Volleyball Club; all decorated seasons:

• USAV GJNC Bids earned:  14-Open, 16-National, 16-USA, 15-American, 18-National
• 4X Triple Crown Appearances, 3rd place finish in 14-Elite Division

Outside of volleyball, Holly’s interests lie in microbiome gut health and neuronal disease manifestations associated with gut flora.  She also enjoys racing sailboats with her father in California.  Most of all she loves her wonderful husband and five year old little boy.  

Bio:

Coach Jodi played Division 1 Volleyball for both New Mexico State and the University of Arizona.   Jodi spearheaded Revolution Volleyball Academy’s junior development program from 2019 – 2023 while also coaching 11s and 12s.   Jodi has also coached 5th and 6th grade at Scottsdale Christian Academy.  Coach Jodi is passionate about teaching the fundamentals and fine tuning body mechanics.   A Mom to three amazing kids, two of her girls have been growing within the Arizona volleyball scene.  She hopes to be a source of support for new volleyball families in Arizona and is excited to join Victorium’s new and growing staff!

Bio:

In the Arizona Coaches Hall of Fame, a National and All-State Coach of the Year, Valorie led the Horizon Huskies program for 43 seasons, amassed over 1,000 wins and five state championships in her highly decorated tenure (2009, 2010, 2012, 2021, 2022).  Serving more than just the players on the court, Coach Valorie dedicated equal time to developing young leaders in the classroom.  Coach Valorie has been recognized as a Cambridge Who’s Who Among American Teachers and as a Who’s Who Among Professionals and Educators.  Coach Valorie will serve as a Mentor Coach to all of our Victorium Volleyball Coaches.
